Shiny pencils

My colored pencils got shorter and shorter. Soon, they many of them were difficult to sharpen. I decided to order a new set because so many of the pencils were so short.
Someone on the beginning colored pencil group had a fabulous idea of making the short pencils a "travel kit." I like that idea a lot. I can use my new, tall, shiny pencils without feeling wasteful.
So, this is my setup. And, learning to draw is expensive. (It doesn't have to be. If I stuck to graphite, it would be cheap.)
My next drawing is going to be a lilac breasted roller. I want to use lots of colors, so I googled the most colorful animals.
